After a week looking, it looks like we might have found a flat in the centre of bordeaux. Yeah! IT hasn't been easy (even harder writing on a french keyboard) mainly due to the amount of info the landlords want that just isn't possible. For example, parents who pay their taxes in france. Well I just don't have any that do that. Your last three pay cheaqes in France. Same again. But in a good flat, we seem to have wangled through a mixture of anglo saxon charm and a fun loving attitude to have won round the landlord. Final bureaucratic rumblings tomorrow, and then onto the job and all that that entails.

Ciao, we are Catherine and Lucio! We are dancing as we type. Lucio said 'brainstorming, vai! vai!' so I typed it. We hope you and Kat are well and surviving France. We hope to visit you soon, if you give us a cold, hard floor to sleep on. We're cool! That was my translation of 'non ci facciamo problemi'. We are dreaming of reaching Bordeaux in Lucio's uncle's bright yellow Fiat 500, which Lucio should have inherited by now. Ma non è così. Cazzo. (naughty naughty naughty!!!)
